B4Plastics is building one of the first biomaterials ventures through a CAPEX-light strategy. Armed with a large patent portfolio and niche validations in the sector with market leaders, we do not build expensive new infrastructure. Instead, we 'refill' existing, underutilized European factories with our new biopolymers, and harvest the added value via licenses. The first technology transfer has already been successfully completed, proving our unique business model in practice. Thanks to our first launching customers transitioning to recurring revenues, commercial traction is now increasing, giving special momentum to a new generation of local renewable materials with new end-of-Life options.
