Research Focus
My focus is on assessing the impact of industrial, household and agricultural activities on water quality, with particular attention to emerging substances of concern and evolving regulations. I am especially interested in the growing role of microplastics in policy frameworks, including the development and harmonisation of sampling and analytical methods, and in how results can be interpreted and compared across different studies.
